A customer in Clifford Chambers, CV37 contacted Elgar Services about renovating their bathroom.
We talked through what they wanted from the space, discussed a few practical ideas and then arranged the work.
The project involved stripping the existing bathroom back, preparing the room, completing the plumbing work and installing the new bathroom suite and finishes.
Preparing the Bathroom
The first stage was to remove the existing fittings and prepare the room for the new installation.
Getting the preparation right is an important part of any bathroom renovation because it gives us the opportunity to check the condition of the walls, pipework and surrounding areas before the new bathroom goes in.
Installing the New Bathroom Suite
Once the room was ready, we installed the new bath, toilet and basin.
This involved carrying out the necessary plumbing work and making sure each fitting was correctly positioned and connected.
The customer had chosen a clean, practical layout that worked well for the size of the room.
Tiling and Finishing
The walls around the basin and toilet were tiled using the customer's chosen tiles, with suitable waterproofing and sealing around the bath and other wet areas.
We then moved on to the flooring and finishing details to complete the room.
Careful sealing around baths, basins and sanitaryware is especially important because it helps protect the surrounding surfaces from water damage over time.
A Complete Bathroom Transformation
From removing the old bathroom to installing the new suite, tiling and completing the final plumbing work, the project was carried out as a full bathroom renovation.
The result was a fresher, more practical bathroom designed around the customer's needs and style.
